Inventory Manager - Vacancy 
  • Duties include but are not limited to:

    • Perform inventory analysis and management to avoid low stock and overstock.
    • Orders new inventory from manufacturers as needed.
    • Monitors inventory and its levels very closely and resolve any issues that may become apparent.
    • Investigate product issues highlighted in a systematic way by store heads.
    • Maintain appropriate stock level according to seasonal promotions and ads.
    • Maintains records regarding inventory control, intake and sales.
    • Place product orders on timely manner and track open purchase orders.
    • Work with Sales Manager to maximize sales and reduce overstocks.
    • Manage inventory adjustments, transfers and restock store as requested by store heads.
    • Approve and Sign off an all time related forms for the inventory team.
    • Monitor work of all inventory control personnel and ensure achievement of all objectives and provide improvements to same if required.
    • Monitor all cycle count programs and ensure consistency and accuracy in same and identify all operational problems in inventory.
    • Administer all return items from customers in case of any shortages and damages and communicate same to manufacturer.
    • Analyze root causes of inventory issues and provide resolutions.
    • Communicate complex inventory problems to CEO promptly for quick resolutions.
    • Develop process improvements to achieve company inventory goals.
    • Develop initiatives to reduce slow moving inventories and to improve inventory turns.
    • Develop inventory plan to ensure seamless movement and smooth product flow.
    • Generate and maintain monthly reports on inventory levels.
    • Review inventory activities and make recommendations.
    • Submit weekly progress reports to upper management (CEO’s).
    • Manage shipment control process. 
    • Manage local purchase process.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Finance or relevant field.
  • A minimum of 5 years’ experience in a similar role.
  • Shipping and logistics experience
  • Solid knowledge of data analysis, inventory management software, and forecasting techniques.
  • An analytical mind with strong attention to detail.
  • Outstanding organizational and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and leadership abilities.
